Garlic Butter Steak & Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 500g baby potatoes, halved
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the steaks with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
  2. Boil the potatoes for 8–10 minutes, then drain.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and cook the potatoes until golden and crispy.
  4. Remove the potatoes and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, sear the steaks for 3–4 minutes per side.
  6. Add butter and garlic.
  7. Spoon the garlic butter over the steaks for 1–2 minutes.
  8. Return the potatoes to the skillet and toss in the garlic butter.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
