Beef Stew Recipe
Ingredients:
- 500 g beef stew meat, cut into cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Brown the beef cubes on all sides.
- Add onion and garlic; cook until softened.
- Stir in tomato paste, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in the beef broth and add the bay leaf.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
- Add carrots and potatoes, and cook for another 30–40 minutes until tender.
- Remove the bay leaf and serve hot.
