Cheesy Spicy Chicken Wrap
Ingredients
- 2 large flour tortillas
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp cumin
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- ½ red onion, diced
- 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
Creamy Spicy Sauce
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 1 tsp lime juice
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Season the chicken with paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 6–8 minutes until golden and fully cooked.
- Add the bell pepper, onion, and jalapeño. Cook for another 3–4 minutes until slightly tender.
- In a small bowl, whisk together all the sauce ingredients.
- Lay a tortilla flat and spread a layer of the spicy sauce.
- Add the cooked chicken mixture, plenty of shredded cheese, and chopped cilantro.
- Fold in the sides and roll tightly into a wrap.
- Toast the wrap in a hot skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy, and the cheese is melted.
- Slice in half and serve with extra spicy sauce and lime wedges.
