Truffle Mushroom Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients

  • 300 g fettuccine pasta
  • 300 g mixed mushrooms (cremini, button, or wild mushrooms), sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp truffle oil (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package directions and drain.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the mushrooms and cook until golden brown, about 6–8 minutes.
  4. Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until smooth and creamy.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper.
  8. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until well coated.
  9. Drizzle with truffle oil if using.
  10. Garnish with extra Parmesan, sautéed mushrooms, and fresh thyme.
