Garlic Butter Ribeye Steak with Roasted Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 ribeye steak (300–400g)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 5 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 300g baby potatoes
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the steak generously with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  2. Roast the baby potatoes at 200°C (400°F) for 25–30 minutes until golden.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat.
  4. Sear the steak for 3–4 minutes per side (or to your preferred doneness).
  5. Add butter and garlic to the pan.
  6. Spoon the melted garlic butter over the steak for 1–2 minutes.
  7. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Serve with roasted potatoes and a fresh green salad.
