Garlic Butter Ribeye Steak with Roasted Potatoes
Ingredients
- 1 ribeye steak (300–400g)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 5 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 300g baby potatoes
- Salt and black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the steak generously with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Roast the baby potatoes at 200°C (400°F) for 25–30 minutes until golden.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat.
- Sear the steak for 3–4 minutes per side (or to your preferred doneness).
- Add butter and garlic to the pan.
- Spoon the melted garlic butter over the steak for 1–2 minutes.
- Let the steak rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve with roasted potatoes and a fresh green salad.
