Creamy Garlic Mushroom Steak Bites

Ingredients

  • 600 g sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 250 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 60 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the steak bites with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  3. Sear the steak bites for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. Melt the butter in the same skillet and sauté the mushrooms until golden.
  5. Add the garlic and thyme, cooking for 30 seconds.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Dijon mustard.
  7. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  8. Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss until coated in the creamy sauce.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread.
