Creamy Garlic Mushroom Steak Bites
Ingredients
- 600 g sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 250 g mushrooms, sliced
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 60 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp fresh thyme
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the steak bites with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
- Sear the steak bites for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Melt the butter in the same skillet and sauté the mushrooms until golden.
- Add the garlic and thyme, cooking for 30 seconds.
- Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Dijon mustard.
- Simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss until coated in the creamy sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread.
