Creamy Garlic Beef & Rice
Ingredients (Serves 4)
For the Beef
- 600 g beef steak or sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp butter
For the Creamy Sauce
- 200 ml cooking cream
- ½ cup beef broth
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped
For the Rice
- 2 cups long-grain rice
- 4 cups beef or chicken broth
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Cook the rice in broth with butter until fluffy.
- Season the beef with paprika, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the beef for 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the garlic for 30 seconds.
- Pour in the beef broth and cooking cream, then stir in the Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Return the beef to the skillet and simmer for 3–5 minutes until coated in the creamy sauce.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
- Serve the creamy garlic beef over warm rice and enjoy.
