Creamy Garlic Beef & Rice

Ingredients (Serves 4)

For the Beef

  • 600 g beef steak or sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp butter

For the Creamy Sauce

  • 200 ml cooking cream
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

For the Rice

  • 2 cups long-grain rice
  • 4 cups beef or chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice in broth with butter until fluffy.
  2. Season the beef with paprika, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the beef for 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and cooking cream, then stir in the Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet and simmer for 3–5 minutes until coated in the creamy sauce.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  8. Serve the creamy garlic beef over warm rice and enjoy.
