Lemon Herb Chicken with Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden.
  3. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Add lemon juice, cream, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth.
  6. Add the asparagus and cook for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  7. Return the chicken to the pan and spoon the sauce over it.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
