Lemon Herb Chicken with Asparagus
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 bunch asparagus
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden.
- Remove the chicken and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add lemon juice, cream, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth.
- Add the asparagus and cook for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the chicken to the pan and spoon the sauce over it.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
