Garlic Thyme Butter Steak Bites
Ingredients (Serves 4)
For the Steak
- 700 g sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Garlic Thyme Butter Sauce
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Pat the steak cubes dry and season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
- Heat olive oil in a large cast-iron skillet over high heat.
- Sear the steak for 2–3 minutes per side until deeply browned. Remove from the skillet.
- Reduce the heat to medium and melt the butter.
- Add the minced garlic and fresh thyme, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and red pepper flakes.
- Return the steak to the skillet and toss until coated in the garlic thyme butter.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Serving Suggestions: Creamy mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, garlic bread, buttered noodles, or steamed rice.
