Crispy Smashed Taco Wraps

Ingredients (Serves 4)
For the Wraps
  • 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp taco seasoning
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
For the Filling
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • Pickle slices (optional)
For the Sauce
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
Instructions
  1. Mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, and paprika to make the burger sauce.
  2. Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and press each portion into a thin layer over one side of a tortilla.
  3. Season the beef with taco seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and place the tortilla beef-side down. Cook for 4–5 minutes until the beef is browned and crispy.
  5. Flip the tortilla and sprinkle with cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Cover for 1–2 minutes until the cheese melts.
  6. Remove from the skillet and top with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and burger sauce.
  7. Fold the tortilla in half and serve immediately with fries or a fresh salad.
