Creamy Garlic Thyme Beef Skillet
Ingredients (Serves 4)
For the Beef
- 700 g beef sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp onion powder
Creamy Garlic Thyme Sauce
- 3 tbsp butter
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- ½ cup beef broth
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp crushed black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Season the beef with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
- Sear the beef for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds.
- Add the thyme, beef broth, heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
- Return the beef to the skillet and simmer for 3–4 minutes until coated in the creamy garlic sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and extra thyme before serving.
