Creamy Garlic Thyme Beef Skillet

Ingredients (Serves 4)
For the Beef
  • 700 g beef sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
Creamy Garlic Thyme Sauce
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp crushed black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions
  1. Season the beef with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  3. Sear the beef for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds.
  5. Add the thyme, beef broth, heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet and simmer for 3–4 minutes until coated in the creamy garlic sauce.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra thyme before serving.
