Creamy Cinnamon Rice Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup short-grain rice
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cinnamon stick (or ½ tsp ground cinnamon)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Ground cinnamon for garnish
  • Chopped pistachios or almonds (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Wash the rice and place it in a saucepan.
  2. Add milk and cinnamon, then cook over low heat.
  3. Stir frequently for 30–40 minutes until the rice is very soft and creamy.
  4. Add sugar, vanilla, and butter.
  5. Continue cooking for 5 minutes.
  6. Pour into serving bowls.
  7. Let cool slightly, then sprinkle with cinnamon and nuts.
