Creamy Cinnamon Rice Pudding
Ingredients:
- 1 cup short-grain rice
- 4 cups whole milk
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cinnamon stick (or ½ tsp ground cinnamon)
- 2 tbsp butter
- Ground cinnamon for garnish
- Chopped pistachios or almonds (optional)
Instructions:
- Wash the rice and place it in a saucepan.
- Add milk and cinnamon, then cook over low heat.
- Stir frequently for 30–40 minutes until the rice is very soft and creamy.
- Add sugar, vanilla, and butter.
- Continue cooking for 5 minutes.
- Pour into serving bowls.
- Let cool slightly, then sprinkle with cinnamon and nuts.
