Creamy Garlic Shrimp with Rice

Ingredients

For the Shrimp

  • 500 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Cream Sauce

  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)

For Serving

  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season shrimp with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  4. Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink.
  5. Pour in the cream and stir in Parmesan cheese.
  6. Add lemon juice, parsley, and chili flakes.
  7. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  8. Serve over fluffy white rice and garnish with parsley.
