Baked Pears with Blue Cheese, Walnuts & Honey
Ingredients
- 4 ripe pears, halved and cored
- 120 g blue cheese (Gorgonzola or Roquefort)
- ½ cup walnuts
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp fresh rosemary leaves
- Pinch of black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Cut the pears in half and remove the cores.
- Brush the pears with melted butter.
- Place them on a baking tray and bake for 15–20 minutes until slightly tender.
- Remove from the oven and fill each pear with blue cheese.
- Top with walnuts and drizzle with honey.
- Return to the oven for 5 minutes until the cheese softens.
- Sprinkle with rosemary and a little black pepper.
- Serve warm with an extra drizzle of honey.
