Classic Full English Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 6 breakfast sausages
  • 6 slices turkey bacon (or beef bacon)
  • 2 large potatoes, grated or thinly sliced (for hash browns)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

  • Baked beans
  • Toast with butter

Instructions

  1. Season the grated potatoes with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Form into a large hash brown (or several small ones).
  2. Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the hash browns for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, cook the sausages over medium heat for 10–12 minutes, turning until evenly browned.
  4. Cook the turkey bacon until crispy, about 3–4 minutes per side.
  5. Melt the butter in another skillet and fry the eggs until the whites are set and the yolks remain runny.
  6. Arrange the hash browns, eggs, sausages, and bacon on a warm plate.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and freshly ground black pepper. Serve immediately.
