Pear & Rosemary Beef Skillet

Ingredients

  • 500 g beef sirloin, sliced into strips
  • 2 ripe pears, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 120 ml beef broth
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the beef with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  3. Sear the beef strips for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the pear slices for 2–3 minutes until lightly caramelized.
  5. Add garlic, honey, and rosemary. Cook for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in the beef broth and simmer for 2 minutes.
  7. Return the beef to the skillet and toss everything together.
  8. Cook for another 2–3 minutes and garnish with fresh parsley.
