Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Pasta

  • 300 g (10 oz) spaghetti
  • Salted water for boiling
  • Extra Parmesan for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from the pan.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds.
  5. Add the chicken broth and heavy cream, then stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top.
  7. Toss the cooked spaghetti with a little butter, Parmesan, and a splash of the reserved pasta water if needed.
  8. Serve the chicken alongside the Parmesan spaghetti, garnish with parsley, and enjoy.
