Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken & Gravy
Ingredients
- 700 g (1½ lb) boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 packet chicken gravy mix
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (optional, for extra flavor)
- 1 can (300 g) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 120 g (4 oz) cream cheese, softened
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For Serving
- Creamy mashed potatoes
- Steamed vegetables (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle with the gravy mix, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, butter, and cream cheese.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
- Shred or cube the chicken and stir it back into the creamy gravy.
- Serve hot over fluffy mashed potatoes and garnish with fresh parsley.
