Garlic Butter Beef & Rice Skillet

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 500 g beef sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Grated Parmesan (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the beef with paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Sear the beef for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the onion, mushrooms, and garlic until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the cooked rice and soy sauce, mixing well.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet and toss everything together for 2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese if desired.
  8. Serve immediately while hot.
