Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken with Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 250 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 250 ml heavy cream
  • 60 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 120 ml chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with paprika, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and sear the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  3. Melt the butter in the same skillet and sauté the mushrooms until browned.
  4. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, then stir in the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the creamy mushroom sauce over the top.
  8. Simmer for another 5 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice.
