Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken with Mushrooms
Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 250 g mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 250 ml heavy cream
- 60 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 120 ml chicken broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the chicken with paprika, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet and sear the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- Melt the butter in the same skillet and sauté the mushrooms until browned.
- Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, then stir in the Parmesan cheese.
- Simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the creamy mushroom sauce over the top.
- Simmer for another 5 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice.
