🫐 Blueberry Cheesecake Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

For the Dough

  • 3½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2¼ tsp instant yeast
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg

For the Cheesecake Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups fresh blueberries
  • 2 tbsp blueberry jam, optional

For the Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Add the warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead for about 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1–1½ hours, or until doubled in size.
  5. Mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Roll the dough into a large rectangle and spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the surface.
  7. Scatter the blueberries over the filling and add blueberry jam if desired.
  8. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 10–12 rolls.
  9. Arrange the rolls in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise for another 20–30 minutes.
  10. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for about 20–25 minutes, until golden brown.
  11. Mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze.
  12. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon rolls and serve. 🫐🤍
