Ingredients
For the Dough
- 3½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 2¼ tsp instant yeast
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup warm milk
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 large egg
For the Cheesecake Filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1½ cups fresh blueberries
- 2 tbsp blueberry jam, optional
For the Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Add the warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Knead for about 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1–1½ hours, or until doubled in size.
- Mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Roll the dough into a large rectangle and spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the surface.
- Scatter the blueberries over the filling and add blueberry jam if desired.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 10–12 rolls.
- Arrange the rolls in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise for another 20–30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (180°C) for about 20–25 minutes, until golden brown.
- Mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon rolls and serve. 🫐🤍
