Chocolate Berry Panna Cotta
Ingredients
- 2 cups (480 ml) heavy cream
- 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk
- 100 g dark chocolate, chopped
- ¼ cup (50 g) sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2½ tsp powdered gelatin
- 3 tbsp cold water
Berry Topping
- 1½ cups mixed berries (raspberries, blackberries, blueberries)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
- Heat the cream, milk, and sugar until hot but not boiling.
- Add the chopped chocolate and stir until smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla and the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
- Pour into molds and refrigerate for at least 4–6 hours.
- Cook the berries with the sugar and lemon juice for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened, then let cool.
- Unmold the panna cotta and top with the berry sauce, fresh berries, and chocolate shavings.
