🍝 Fast Stuffed Shells with Ground Beef

Ingredients

For the Pasta

  • 24 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, for boiling water

For the Filling

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

For the Sauce

  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • ÂĽ cup grated Parmesan
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells until al dente. Drain and let cool.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook the onion until soft. Add garlic and ground beef, then season with Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and drain excess fat.
  4. In a large bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, parsley, and the cooked beef mixture.
  5. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce in a baking dish.
  6. Fill each shell with the beef and cheese mixture and arrange them in the dish.
  7. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the shells and top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake another 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
