Chocolate Berry Panna Cotta

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (480 ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk
  • 100 g dark chocolate, chopped
  • ¼ cup (50 g) sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2½ tsp powdered gelatin
  • 3 tbsp cold water

Berry Topping

  • 1½ cups mixed berries (raspberries, blackberries, blueberries)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat the cream, milk, and sugar until hot but not boiling.
  3. Add the chopped chocolate and stir until smooth.
  4. Stir in the vanilla and the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
  5. Pour into molds and refrigerate for at least 4–6 hours.
  6. Cook the berries with the sugar and lemon juice for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened, then let cool.
  7. Unmold the panna cotta and top with the berry sauce, fresh berries, and chocolate shavings.
