🧀🍝 Creamy Parmesan Chicken Spaghetti
Ingredients
For the Pasta:
- 12 oz (340 g) spaghetti
- Salt, for boiling water
For the Chicken:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Creamy Parmesan Sauce:
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 cup broccoli florets (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 6–8 minutes until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
- Add the broccoli (if using) and cook for 2–3 minutes until tender.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and stir to coat in the creamy sauce.
- Add the cooked spaghetti and toss everything together. If needed, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley, extra Parmesan, and red pepper flakes. Serve immediately and enjoy! 🍝🧀
